March at Pizza Home Szolnok – Getting ready for the Szeged opening
March was a busy month full of changes for us at Pizza Home Szolnok.
As you may already be used to, something is always happening with us – and this time was no different. Early in the month there were some smaller reorganizations within the team, aimed at securing the fastest possible delivery.
Behind the scenes, things kept moving too. Several pieces of kitchen equipment went in for servicing – fridges, dough sheeters – so that everything would be in the best possible shape for the spring rush.
On top of that, we're training new colleagues in the kitchen, since in the long run a stable team is the only way to run things well.
The focus right now is on Szeged
Our March, though, was mostly built around one bigger goal.
We're working flat out to get ready for the Pizza Home opening in Szeged.
Setting up the kitchen is already well underway, while we're moving forward on everything else in parallel:
- the website is in progress
- we're sourcing equipment
- we've started ordering ingredients
This is a period where we have to be fully present in our day-to-day operations in Szolnok, while at the same time building a brand-new location from scratch.
We're present in more and more cities
Many of you probably already know that this isn't our first expansion like this.
Following the Szolnok location's model, the Pizza Home franchise is already present in Eger, where you can already order our pizzas, gyros platters and giant pancakes.
And now we're taking another big step.
We'll soon be launching in Szeged as well, where our new site goes live alongside the opening:
Our goal is for pizza ordering in Szolnok, Eger, and soon Szeged, to mean the exact same quality.
And it doesn't stop there – we're already working on bringing Pizza Home to more cities in the future.
When are we opening?
Current plans have Pizza Home Szeged opening its doors around April 15th.
We'll launch with pizzas and giant pancakes, with the menu expanding further later on.
What does this mean for Szolnok?
A fair question to ask: will this affect how things run in Szolnok?
The answer: no – quite the opposite.
We're carrying forward everything we've learned here and in Eger to Szeged, while continuously improving our operations in Szolnok as well, both the team and the equipment.
We're heading into an exciting period, and thank you for sticking with us.
If everything goes according to plan, you'll soon be able to find us not just in Szolnok and Eger, but in Szeged too.
